I wish Apple would push this program therein direction like After Effects. It can create some amazing standalone videos. This program is especially for FCPX and mac (Final Cut Pro X) transitions. Movie Pro X has taken tons of warmth (some of it deserved). That said, I’ve found this most up-to-date reorganization retains Motion’s underlying functional logic while the new UI skin really allows you to specialize in the work. Veteran users may find the interface changes a touch of a hurdle. And that I must say I’ve never before experienced this level of smoothness and stability… Gone are the occasional crashes and unexplained quits. We recently enlisted Motion 5 on a project for compositing dozens of complex scenes.
This is often a solid upgrade to a product that has often been somewhat finicky about how one works with it. I have been using Motion for years to handle complex compositing of 3D material, motion matching, post effects, and titling. It’s an excellent motion graphics app everything is real-time, the interface is native and fast.
